Less than a year ago, the Dinsmores brought home a little boy from Africa. (I had the honor of watching them begin the process–step out in faith to change programs and bring home a waiting child from another country. Seriously–it was amazing to watch.) While on a missions trip this summer, Lara met a sweet 8 year old girl named Mary and knew she was meant to be their daughter. Two adoptions a year apart is a pretty substantial financial challenge, but they believe that God will be faithful and provide everything they need to bring her home!
This week their sweet family is the family of the week at Give 1 Save 1. This week alone over $3,400 has been donated! About $1,600 more is needed to pay for the legal fees to bring her home. That’s just 160 donations of $10 each! You can help by watching their video, sharing this link, and giving to Marys Project Hopeful FIG account. All donations are tax deductible and held in a specific fund for Mary and can only be used toward specific adoption-related expenses.
I’m going to start my day off today by joining Team 160:) I coined that;). Wanna join me? Just 160 people giving just $10–helping support this family to bring this sweet girl home. To help bring this sweet one home–please visit:
If you would like to visit the Dinsmore family’s blog and read more about their family–please visit her at The Farmer’s Wife Tells All. Lara will be at Created for Care in 2013 at BOTH retreats–she is serving on the adoption mom panel AND she is coming to volunteer. If you are coming to the retreat, this is one of the sweet moms who will be behind the scenes serving, running around, stuffing bags and making sure everyone is where they need to be. How thankful we are for her willingness to fly across the country to SERVE along with us. (Thank you Lara!)
Y’all have a really, really great week. Y’all keep Princess T and her new family in your prayers this weekend and next week. (They fly out on Tuesday for the Ukraine–and court is on Thursday the 30th!).
Much love from our crew,
